My favourite Weegie joke is the absolute classic from Tom Shields Diary in the Herald... He saw a woman battering her kid in the supermarket when a German woman ran up to her and said "In Germany vee don't hit our children".

The Weegie woman replied, "aye, well, in Partick we don't gas oor Jews".

It's believable too and just about as politically incorrect as you can get :D
