afternoon all,
have provisionally booked dive & sea hebrides for 11th - 14th april.
£155 for 3 nights s/c accomodation, 6 dives & air fills.

Hoping to have a few names from CA to boost numbers so can offer 6 spaces.
Emphasis will be wrecks, nothing deep or technical and as always weather permitting....

Might be interested, I'll have to check my diary when I get home but I've always fancied Skye.
Gordon and I are very interested - is that the easter weekend and can we bring the dog? If so, count us in.

Nope, Easter is in March this year.
The Easter weekend is Friday 21st March to Monday 24th March 08. I am interested, could a non diver come along?

what better way to celebrate it than diving and antics with fellow divers on the isle of skye :D
forget to mention, need a fairly commited list by next week as thats when the deposit is due if i get enough numbers to go ahead.....

far too many :(
ideally need 10 divers and so far we have 1 definate (thats me), 3 umming and ahhing from my club (despite about 20 ppl all saying oh yeah i'd love to do that and yep those dates are good for me :mad:)
Too early in the year for me Jo otherwise would have jumped at it. Usually start diving again at the end of April as you know - a few warm up test the gear dives on the (slightly) warmer south coast. Would have loved to do this as the diving off the northern coasts was fabulous year before last great viz and always fanicied diving with Dive and Sea further down the island. He really knows his stuff , I've met him a few times when i've been on Sky.
Accomadation is so conveniently placed as well with the pub within staggering distance! 100yrds away

I would love to Jo, but now I'm not back in the UK til the 17th April.
oh dear - its not looking good so far - only 4 people interested and i need 10 to make it a go-er :(
shame as i really fancied going there....
wanted to get a few local ish trips in before i temporarily move onto MV Valkyrie for a few weeks in Scapa & Shetland again :eek: woo hoo
If you can't get enough people - you could try easter weekend, we would definately be up for it then.

DSAC have used Dive and Sea the Hebrides a few times now. Always a good trip and Gordon is a first class skipper
I will let our club know about the trip. You may get a response? Who knows?:confused:

tis fully booked over easter and i think im diving somewhere else then too....
not to worry contacted Aileen at Dive & Sea today and simply said sorry but couldnt get the numbers to commit to a deposit, so possibly later in the season or if another group cancels....

sorry gord, emailed aileen at Dive & Sea and said couldnt get the numbers as they wanted a deposit this week, but will be keeping in touch for any other spaces :(
is that weekend still free or has someone else taken it?
