Looks like a Ragworm/ King Ragworm - segmented brown or greenish worm can grow to 15". Very strong jaws so can give you a nip. Should have small swimming paddles on each segment.

Looks like a Little Cuttlefish. Alan and I saw one of these here before.
There is a picture of one of them on the 'Wemyss Bay, Haloween' photos

Nice one Alex, I think you might be right. That is going to hack Peter off now, a cuttlefish and squid :D
im not the best with fish ID, i think its a rag worm as well.
but, the chain looks like its 'long link' made from high quality steel & covered with hot dip galvanised coating.
showing signs of wear & pitting.
coat... door... gone.

:D:D
I liked the squid. He/she/it was the size of my gloved index finger and at one point was getting a bit agressive on us. Awwwwww :D
I really wanted that to be a wee octopus but cuttle fish will do. It was cute as well.
Nice pics Chris

Seen that same (or practically identical) cuttlefish (though I too thought it was a little octopus/squid) at the A-Frames a few months back. Unfortunately conditions were rough and I was just back in the water after an absence so I hadn't taken the camera with me. Damn shame too, it was sitting perfectly still staring at me staring at it.
coat... door... gone.
Missing you all ready

Ok, The worm is most likely a Phyllodoce lamelligera (if it was any longer than 6") they can grow up to nearly two feet!
The Cuttlefish is in fact a "Little Cuttlefish" (no joke!) Sepiola atlantica. These are a separate family of Cuttlefish who only grow to a max of 2" (5cm), unlike their bigger "cousins" the Common Cuttlefish, Sepia officianalis, who can grow to 1 ft or so. I had the good fortune to see one at Elie Harbour, Fife, earlier this year, but didn't have my camera on this dive.
When posting pics and asking for ID, it is helpful to give us an idea of the size/length of the target.

I thought it was a baby octopus also. But I too will live with cuttlefish if that's what it is. It was about 2 - 3 ins high
Here's one I photographed in Nov 06 at Anchor Reef.
