Gord - I think you have taken this number 1 stuff too far now you are eliminating the competition (or complimentary sites?) - anyone know what happened to SD (Biker Bill may have an idea, unless you've got him locked in your basement!) :eek:

I was getting far too many complaints lately regarding a certain persons use of language on the forum. I decided that enough was enough then pulled the plug on it, after all, we are either on here or Finstrokes so I did not see any problems. The backhander from Gord helped as well:D:D
Well done Gord!! CA really is the best thing we stumbled upon, great for diving info, thoroughly entertaining and unlike other forums, most non-diver related i've been on there's no clique + no-one gives a monkey's about who you trained with or your level of diving experiece. How it should be. IMHO.
Genuine people genuinely into there sport and prepared to pass on knowledge and experience.
PS can i be a mnky whale for all that.:D

Billy, I think you logic is right and the volume of posts on SD was down. However, it was my first diving forum and via there I found Conger and Finstrokes, so it's a shame to see it go. :(

I too came to Conger Alley by way of Scottish Divers so sad to see it go. Didn't post much on it, but always liked to read what other people were posting.
