Yo, divin' dudes.

Given our geographical advantage (we live on the edge of the largest fjordal system in Europe apart from Norway and are not therefore obliged to consider quarry-diving in Leicestershire :p ) the Boydman and I are going for a dive in Loch Long after work. Passing the Little Thief in Dunbarton around 7 if anyone wants to join us. I think we'll be going in the water at the Caves around 7.30.

And how was it? You see lots 'n' lots?
Just you and Mr Boyd?

Yeah, just me and Chopper. Can I point out to Bubblemaker that the tide was low ... and the viz was THE WORST EVER. It was like diving in strong nescafe.
My new theory is my old theory: the biggest influence on viz is run-off from the hills.

This could be true in your case, Ding, given that you never rinse your kit. You have "personal viz". ;)

pretty much... but i still reckon the tide going oot must help a bit. Flushing away all the poo as it were..

we dived conger last sunday (i think) and had about 10m!!! the tide was outish, but i can't remember what way it was going!! but there was very little run off.

maybe to guarantee vis.. we need to move to egypt for the winter months!!! Ding can pay for it!!! haha..
