What do ya reckon for underwater use on longer exposure shots.

Just looking at the construction of the legs on those pods. With a little adaptation and mechanical ingenuity they could adapt to inexpensive strobe arms. Depend how they are constructed and if the segments unclip.

Need to watch the material the screws are made from. Very probably mild steel. But at that price who cares :D

I've seen some cracking results of folk using tripods for long exposure wide angle wreck shots.

Saw these in Boots for about £20 (I think). Considered the same use but didn't buy any at the time. Would consider buying one for use in and out of the water at a time when my wallet doesn't seem so empty.
