morning all,

there's a few YD'ers going out of the farnes on 15th dec - weather permitting on William Shiels Glad Tiding complete with lift n loo.

Just wanted to post a note on here - not an organised trip as such - more a case of contact the skipper 01665 721297.
Only 4 names down so far so we need a few more to make it a go-er.

hope to see some of you there

well an excellent the weekends diving was had.

Clear blue skies, water had a bit of swell and viz not much better than about 2 metres. Temp was a totally tropical 8 degress

Glad Tidings - Farnes we dived north wamses, plenty of seals in the water but far too quick to get any pics of. Found octopus, plenty of anemones and lovely scenic things
Second dive was knivestone and plenty of rust to be found, several lobbies and again loads of life - well worth diving.

Shower and change and drive to south shields for a Yorkshire Divers drinks and curry evening.

Sunday morning the weather was much the same, with a slight increase in the swell.
First dive was the Glanmire - excellent wreck which i never tire of diving. Unfortunately theres a fair amount of ropes strewn across various points of it from abandones lobster pots and old shot lines so be careful especially in bad viz. Viz was about 3 or 4 metres but very dark.
Second dive was just out of eyemouth harbour sheltered from the swell on the morotavia and others wrecks - plenty of things to see and a good dive.

Really chuffed to get in the sea so late in the year with 4 dives that were well worth doing.
Many thanks to William at Glad Tidings and Iain of Marine Quest. Also my buddy and weekend hosts Graham & Alison.
