SCAPA 2008!

Hi Peoples,

I haven’t posted for a while as ive been busy busy busy!

Member of Eastwood dive club – and organising a trip to Scapa Flow Next year.
I have 6 people from the club booked spaces so looking for another 6!

Got to let skipper know by Friday Night as it is provisionally booked until then!

The Plan….

1 weeks self-catering liveaboard on the Sunrise. Sat 21st June 2008.

10 dives, lots of wrecks and some scenic.

£234 for diving, transport/ferry and food will be additional. (As will beer money!!!!) Northern Isles supplement if we would like it/have weather for it would be an additional £35 (roughly).

I’ve been twice with the club – amazing week!

You would need to be a dived-up sports diver.

Any questions? I know ive been brief (but im at work!).

Time of year should be great for the trip.

Who would like to go? – Names down below! Would need £100 deposits in two weeks. If you say you wish to go and then cant because of unforeseen circumstances etc then you will have to find a replacement body, or pay monies due as it would not be fair to have to spread the cost between the rest of the trip. (sorry but had to say it!) I’m an honest wee soul I promise!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that scapa is off for next year at the mo! :(

Only got 10 people in the end (between club & conger members) so going to give it a miss. I like having a reserve or two for big trips like this! Needed 12 to fill it.
I was to let the skipper know tonight if it was on so he could make a definite booking instead of provisional for us.

There was a date (end June) which the skipper said may be partly filled by another group, so i'll could look in to that and see how many spaces are available if that would suit us better.

why not book with emily on the radient queen as day boat divers - last time i met her she was happy to take out groups as small as 5 or 6.

Also have a chat with andy of the jean elaine and sharon rose as they too take out mixed groups on a per diver basis rather than the entire charter cost as i've dived off them as a single solo diver.
