Has anybody had a free flow at deeper than 30m? I was diving on the Beagle in the clyde, and as i came round the bow the current hit me in the face and my reg freeflowed. So I took my reg out my mouth and bent the hose to stop the freeflow as stopping the air from the first stage stops a freeflow. But it doesend work at 30m. So I bought myself a new toy a "flow stop" Its a valve that connects to the second stage and slides forward to open and back to close. Great Idea but since i'v fitted it I have not had a freeflow. PS I fitted one to my Rebreather ADV as well, dont want to lose all my dill.

What about DV's with flow control knobs on them? Are they any good and does anyone use theirs?

www.rebreatherspares.co.uk also sell them, their prices are really good for most things.

Not a bad idea, especially on a rebreather when you've only got a titchy bottle. Shame you can't really fit them on the KISS.

Could not find them on the web site?

I think they are in the gas connection system section.

Seen them and really liked the idea as my octopus sometimes gets a bit over excited when blasting my DSMB.

However, was concerned that could be accidentally shut off - how easy would it be to operate it accidentally and is there a lock open?

Cheers

There is no lock but they work really easy. Two fingers and the slide valve works. Ask someone who has one, a great idea.
