Fantastic two dives last night at Two Piers to 20m and 13m. Great contrast between the different areas. Between the Pier supports is dark seabed due to dead mussel shells. Lots of starfish & crabs. The sandy slope is heaving with small life, lots of gobies/blennies, flatties, crabs, urchins, occasional scallop, and saw my first sea scorpion. The small reef from 10 to 18m looks like someone garden full of prize annuals - there are so many sea loch anemones and occasional plumrose anemones on top. Big conger under the 3m block at 10m. Also saw more small fish ?small saithe, free swimming than on most Loch Long dives. Viz 3 to 4m. All this with an easy site entry/exit and not too many midges. Couldn't find the wreck this time.

Stick to the Mull and avoid the Titanic at the Village Inn.

You, I and Gogs. Management speak calls it 'Early Adopters' or Champions. I prefer putting in divesite descriptions to watching the telly or doing housework. It also means that Alan and I get to visit sites that we would not otherwise have been aware of - win all around for me.
