First to say I hope the young lady who had a fast ascent is ok
Second the viz was 10+ and saw shoals of pollock, big edable crab,
and loads of rebreather divers. The sea was full of inspirations.

we all hope the girl from your club is well. It is a scary thing to see a rescue like that when you feel 'involved'. All the best to her.

Glad you are well. :) :) All the best to you. Was scary to see a rescue. It's one thing seeing them on tv but when you are in the water and see someone else being rescued it's not nice.

Most time I dive the quarry I go down to the B200 then round the bay and back to the pier. Under the pier there is plenty to see as this picture shows

Sea squirts, Sulpher sponge, Dead mens fingers, Boring sponge, and shoals of small saith.

Got my suit from Aquatron on friday and dived Furnace quarry. The viz was about 6-8 meters and was very green. The ballin wrasse were very freindly a posed for the camera.

I was diving with Alister Findley one of the founding members of the EPC (the eastwood pensioners club) Hes having a great time, retired and can dive anytime.

The weather was good and we parked the car right beside the pier so all in all it was a great day. As usual we had our apree dive in The Village Inn then down the road in time to teach a couple of trainees the rescue in Eastwood pool.

I'm off to the dive show now its a hard life but I'm struggling by...
