Hi Scott what time are you thinking about to meet up?
Not too sure yet. Where definately going to be waiting until it darkish before we get in the water. Probably about 7ish.
I'll check and let you know.
it's really tempting but just a bit too far for a night dive for me maybe :o
We should be there about 1730-1800.
Drop me a PM/text if you're coming. There's 2 cars going at the moment.
I'll not make it on this occasion
have fun
post some photos please
Well had a cracking night dive at Anchor point tonight. Got in the water at 1920 just as it was getting dark. The current was quite strong at 25m at one point.
There was a nice bit of life but not much different than during the day. The resident Pollack where a lot more docile than usual though and you could swim right up to them. Still a nice dive though with some nice drifts. Also showed the guys phosphorescence with the lights covered. Ended up with a good 60min dive with a max depth if 27.3m When we surfaced we had a cloudless and moonless sky, lots of stars and the milky way was putting on a show. Very nice to float there looking up at it with the water glowing green around us :D
I didn't take the camera in as this was my first night dive for a while but got a nice pic on the way there ;)

I always forget my camera when there are the best opportunities for good pics and when I remember it it pisses down!:(

That is beautiful:)
I did lots of night dives in Loch Fyne last year at this time of year.
On many dives saw many Atlantic cuttlefish.:)
All at a depth of greater than 25 m.
Enjoy your dive.
