here's a wee vid I put together a while ago, it is made from clips from when I was ice diving in Russia, seems ages ago now.

I've not had time nor the bandwidth to upload these past couple of months, but now things are settled and broadband is finally in our house; let the good times role.....

I was there with Maren from MC Diving.

air temp -15C ish, surface temp -1C, bottom temp -2C.

I would recomend, flying to Finnland, and then the 5 hour car journey, anything is better than a 27 1/2 hour train journey from Moscow.

Charlie; the website is http://www.dive.ru/pages/page/show_lang/25.en.htm

ask for Diana....mmmm lovely Diana......:D

What an amazing vid accompanied by fab faithless, loved
how you could partially hear the actual video footage plus
the music, edited brilliantly, made the hairs on the back of ma
neck stand up,had to put a fleecy on after watchin, feck even yer fins were blue.
The stills at the end were awsome,
did you really take that last one...
a northen bottlenose whale or is it on their
website!

thanks, the photos at the end werent mine, just "borrowed"

While I was there, some Check and polish divers were diving too. They took a days excursion to see the Beluchy Whales, you could snorkel and dive with them.
