How about a CA/Finstrokes photo day?

Bit of a photog's get together. Get to talk pish about set ups, equipment and techniques then try them out. Laptops at the ready and the Photoshop/PSP pro's can lend some tips.

Maybe even a couple of days. "Shallow and light" and "Deep and dark"

Sound interesting?

That amateurs statement better include me as well. I counted tonight, I've had the camera out 6 times (7 including last Wed when the batteries died after one under expossed pic :o )

I was thinking St Abbs for "Shallow and light" and somewhere west coast for "Deep and dark", gives more folk a chance to make at least one as well.

If we get a good response it should be a regular thing. Every couple of months?

St Abbs will be chocka wi photogs this weekend as it is holding an anual open photographic competition. Up to now the weather is going to dampen prospects with a blow out for serious photoraphing.:(

Why doesnt everyone come visit me, and we can do Ningaloo Reef? AND I'LL PAY FOR THE FLIGHTS

October school holidays is the perfect time....

Thats very generous of you - it'll be a fair sized bill flying about 50 people and dive gear out there :p

As olddog points out St Abbs is going to be murder polis this weekend so probably best staying clear.

I'm going to suggest the 15th or 16th Sept for St Abbs as I can't really make it earlier.

I must say I thought of this with Amatuer in mind, lets us get a few pointers off each other and we might even learn something  :D All pro's are welcome ;)

I couldn't make that weekend I'm afraid. You'd previously suggested (http://www.congeralley.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1343&highlight=kintyre) the 16th Sept for the SS Kintyre anniversary dive anyway, Scott. :o

Oh aye. I'd forgot about that. There could be a problem with that day as one of the tubes on the RIB blew up the other week. Not heard if it has been fixed yet or when it will be.

The weekend after then?
