Thought this was an eel like species, but it turns out it’s a butterfish (gunnel) it's related to the blennies.
Shot at Beadnell Northumberland. Hope it OK to post English fish, Beadnell its North of Hadrians wall!!!

Just looked at the St Abbs Web Cam. Its like the perfect bloody storm.:eek: might go at the end of the week.

The other thing is to do a boat dive with aquastars get martin along as a guide( £15 i think) tell him what you are looking to photograph he knows where the critters are. He may do ness ends reef also, this is where aquastars do their courses form so he's in there all the time.
He was the one that found the octopus at the cauldrens arch.
