These little puppy dogs of the shore are lovely subjects to photograph but they are sometime frustrating in that they you get set up and they back into their holes in a flash.
But I thought I would share a time and place where the come out brazenly and let you shoot at will. It’s the entry point at St Abbs just after the flush at high tide.
They must have sussed that all the foot traffic knocks the tops of the barnacles at this location. Because for twenty mins after the tide floods they gorge themselves on the barnacles. Its shallow and even point a shooters should get a few good shots at this location.
