Thinking off buying the above head as I'm only getting around 90mins using my Pro Head with 50Watt Bulb. Anybody use the Tristar LED Head already ? Can get one from Deep Blue Dive for £109.00.

used to own one myself.
good light, high burn kelvin = really white light. 7k+ i think!
cuts through black water very well, you don't know its on in clear (st. abbs?) water.
scares the life out of some fish, which can be fun if you like parting shoals or making fish ball in to tight groups by a mere flick of the circular wrist.
contact Lumb Bro (http://www.lumb-bros-das.co.uk/) & ask for Rob.
he should beat that price no problem.
don't be put off by the prices on the site, they are list prices.
tell him i sent you, he is pretty one on one with his customers & offers a great service.

not as bright as a 35 watt halogen, but a good light none the less, crap in low light situations, better at night. Tough bulbs. Very diffuse light, not focussed, I think it has a 24 degree spread (which is tighter than the Halogen head).

All the info you want here http://www.green-force.com/lighthead/Tristar.php?lang=en

the darker it gets the better the light seems its about the same as a d8r only with a tighter beam

i correct myself, the LED burns at 5800 kelvins which is natural daylight colour!
