I was thinking of a dive at Inverkip Yacht Club on Wed night. I dived it last Saturday with Iconic and his mate Ali. They seen a rock fish in the wreck just off the slip. I fancy going back to try and get some pics.

Anyone fancy it?

Meeting in the car park at 1845 (ish)

LW is at 2025 and it's springs, so by the time we're ready to go in it should have calmed down a bit.

Be warned it isn't a massive wreck might be a bit disappointing for the drive through but it's good enough for a wee splash. The wreck is a small cabin cruiser but there is a bit of life around it. Might try and find te 2nd wreck as well. I've never been on it before.

If youse are still going and if someone was prepared to pick me up in the west end of Glasgow I would be up for a wee dook. Happy to pay my fair share of the fuel.

What sort of depth ?

The wreck will be at 13m as the tide will be out on springs. Not sure of the wreck to the RHS of the slip, I think it is about the same.

Nederlander, I'm coming from Greenock so I think you'll have to ask Shog nicely.

Had a cracking dive tonight with Snorkel123.

LW at 2020 (ish), by the time I ****ed about we got in the water at 2005 so where spot on for slack. Headed straight out from the new slip down to 13m then hung a right looking for the wreck, took a square search to find it and eventually came across it after a false alarm (it was an impressive bit of seaweed  )

There was a shoal of young Pollack around the wreck and a variety of Crabs. Didn't see the rock fish (which I now think was a Gunard). Got te camera out, fisrst shot was woefully underexpossed, second pic was about to be taken when the batteries died :o

Had another look around the wreck then headed back. Came across a Gurnard (http://finstrokes.com/pelagic/gurnard.html) on the slope. Damn batteries...

Cheers Brian for a cracking dive.
