Cod Alley

Great dive last night with Helen, Urchin and Bubblemaker at Conger Alley.

A clear evening and excellent viz. We saw two dogfish on the way down the slope (~10m), plenty of congers (including some young'uns), but the highlight for me was seeing cod (3 medium-sized individuals cruising around at the top of the reef). I've never seen cod in loch long before.

Now all we need is Beryl to come back and eat them!

...or I get there with the fishing rod :D Seriously, Cod in Loch Long are as rare as hen's teeth, maybe the stock levels are on the up.
