What do u guys think :D
How many mem cards will u take or just one and a camera buddie,
It lets u take pics at the max size in stead of less quality and more pics.

Told Alan my buddy about it - we're off to Maldives at end of Sept. He takes 2 cards and deletes off all duds at end of every day. Alex

I suppose it depends on how many photies you take on a dive. You can buy a 1Gb XD memory card for about £27.00 (www.ebuyer.com) That would surely last you a full day's diving. Excellent idea if you are on a live-aboard. Saves you taking the laptop. Disadvantage is you need to wait till you are home until you can get a good look at the results. By then the trip is over. If you take the laptop, you can check the results at the end of the day and still have the opportunity to do something about it the next day.
Problem I have is getting the battery to last for the full day. I suppose I could buy a second battery, but that would mean I need to get organised.
Just my 2 pence worth.

Depends on the camera I get 58 pics on a 1 gig card. I have a rough idea of the settings and usually bracket my pics to make sure I get it right. Get organised that a bit extreme!!!!
