Hello.
Have any of you taken part in the NAS training scheme?

Nope but I have always fancied it. If you're thinking about doing a course then I might be interested depending on dates. When I looked at it last year, most places wanted minimum numbers to book on the course.

Cheers,

Stuart

Nice one.

They do a mini summer school (Fri-Sun) where you complete Part 1 and 2. The next two dates are

Aug 31st at Portsmouth
Oct 26th at Stoney Cove http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa140/regthing/disg15.gif

I was thinking of doing the Stoney Cove one as it's a few hours less drive but the date might not suit me depending on were I end up working. The course fee doesn't inclulde entrance to Stoney though so probably just as cheep driving to Portsmouth

The Aug date is a week after I finish up and would be ideal. Won't mind that if there was someone sharing the driving.

Both courses are £135 for non-members and £120 for members

Link to the training schedule is here (http://www.nasportsmouth.org.uk/news/diary.php?type=course)

I looked at it at the end of last year, but all their courses seemed to be in Englandshire.

Yeah, it was the Lochaline courses that I was looking at. I'm sure there's someone else up there too that runs courses.
