View Full Version : Eyemouth and Lochfyne
Here are some of the better pics I took this weekend.
I am very chuffed with this one as I only got one chance before it disappeared in a flash.

Some nice pics and yes the peacock worms are incredibly quick! but very lovely. I got a few nice shots on the Napier last year. The end of the mast near where the shot is tied is covered with them!
nice catch with the peacock worm, been trying for one for a wee while myself!!

Love the photo of the brittle-star starfish resting on the sun-star starfish. The photo of the squat lobster is interesting too, odd angle, lack of pincers (not nessecarily a bad thing, I would never have thought of taking a photo of a squat lobster without the pincers in view) and a hell of a lot of detail.
As for the peacock worm they're a right ******* to photograph. There were a fair number on the A-Frame but I don't think any photos of them turned out.
Good job!

Great shots Shmeeg ! :D What camera is it you have again ? Lovely detail especially the little "wierd" starfish sitting on the claw of the squattie!

Good point, I wasn't even thinking about getting the pincers in!! I was so engrossed in seeing how close up I could get.
I zoomed right in on this one but only noticed after that he only had one feeler.

DT - I have a sea&sea 860G with the YS27DX strobe. I bought it in one of those dodgy New York Camera stores when I was there in May. All these pictures are taken with the macro lens attached.
