Anyone up for Powmill Mid Week ?
I'd fancy an evening dip there :)
Did you have a specific day in mind?

Could do Monday anytime, or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after 7.00pm and yes Loudy i will have a full tank this time :D
Also thinking about a night dive at Eyemouth:D

I didn't say a word :p,any night except monday for me,off diving tomorrow so i think i'll get grief if i go monday aswell :(
Charlie as you know the chap that owns the land, would he be up for having a gate fitted free of charge so he can lock it up but let us in to dive. One of my customers has offered to supply and fit a gate for him for free as long as he lets us have access to dive
I'd be up for trying Powmill. Wed, Thur or Friday night would suit me. Might manage Tue night but won't know until Tue.

I think the big hill is still there :D
Wed at 7:30pm suits me but I might need to reduce my status to penciled in. I've managed to get Conjunctivitis :(
I'm hoping it will clear for Wed.
It didn't stop me getting out yesterday but it was only minor in my right eye, but now it's really bad in my left :(
any evening except Wednesday would suit me; so if you change plans, give me a shout.
p.s. anyone with a big manly jeep that can take my twins up the hill would be greatly admired. & i would promise never to mention weight belts again...

Does that mean the hill is accessible to 4x4's again? Last I looked the access from the road was blocked :confused:

Wed at 19:30 looks fine for me. :)
I believe that the landowner doesn't like people parking on the grass verge beside the road, so it would be better to park in the tarmac layby to avoid antagonising him. I've parked in the layby on the couple of occasions that I dived there recently & he didn't appear at all.

For some reason I thought Powmill was near Glasgow. I mentioned it to one of my buddies and he seems keen. So we might still go through anyway. I won't know until I speak to him tomorrow.
If we're not at Powmill we'll be out on the West coast.

Aye but yeah canna run while putting on yer drysuit :D . Made an offer to someone on CA for their Greenforce 12 (Double Battery) with 35watt head so hopefully they will take it and i can have it for Thursday. If not need to buy some new batteries for my UKD4, Mmmm Parts Deptment:D

even 2nd hand, its probably worth around £280 ish. IMHO.
my spare HID is a light head (which you could have put on your battery pack).
i will be also using a HID, will show you it when we are there.

Yep, shouldn't be a problem. I know the road from Dunfermline to Powmill. Only 20-30 mins from work.

What, only 2800kg? You want the best 4x4xfar for towing rib's! 3500kg and even better off road.. ;) :D mind you, I'll concede it's not as good on road and it's drink problems even worse than mine :eek: :rolleyes:

If it's any consolation, the viz was very poor.
I think that loudy & stew must have snaffled the doughnuts as I didn't get one!

yeah, shog left 4 doughnuts (well done shog & a big tanks for that). but that Loudy character ate most of them, i managed to prise one from his hand before he gazumpet it like he did the rest of them.

Sorry guys but could not dive, got home and had a tiny bit blood out of my ears :( . Been to the docs today and everything is okay!. Anyway hard day at work so a few vodka's tonight and diving at eyemouth on Sunday at 8am ant St Abbs in the afternoon. Oh Stewart if your going remember your drysuit!!!!!:D
