View Full Version : Little Blue, Loch Fyne
Gedan and myself are going out with Malcolm at Loch Fyne Dive on the Little blue on Sunday. He has some spare places on the boat if anyone is interested in coming along. His mobile is 07812572681 and here is the link to the website.

remember to leave early as the golf is on at loch lomond which could hold you up for around 2 hours.
Oh yeah, what time do you think the traffic jam will start? we were planning on leaving about 6.30am (from Blantyre)
i got caught out 2 years ago, the traffic was at a standstill before 8am.
don't know what time the golf starts, perhaps 9am-10am?
leaving at 6:30 should help, but I'm not guaranteeing that one!
the way back will be the same, so you may as well stop at the pub on the way down.

Heard on the news this am that someone was teeing off at 8am!! They are almost as mad as us, getting up early to go diving:D
now why did'nt i think of that, must be the shmeegs fault.:D
why dont you join us down at st abbs? away from the golf :D
I'm also heading for loch fyne on sunday, was hoping to miss the traffic by heading through helensburgh and up the caves road to arrochar.

will be diving at eyemouth on Saturday, i think there's a way we can go via helensburgh, either that or the dunoon ferry. Any other suggestions? Cheers though.

nah... only kidding,,
have a long lie in, leave the house at 9am, the road will be empty, blue birds will be flying, the sun splitting the trees, water will be azure when you get there & there will be a deck boy waiting to load your kit on the boat.
& 3.2.1. your back in the room...:D

Don't know if it's worth anything, but whenever the open's on in st andrews traffic is a nightmare usually around 9/10am. It also depends when the favourite is playing as most people will plan to arrive in time to walk the course with them....
but it also depends onthe weather, if it keeps raining it may get flooded out!

you could be right; the weather (http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/today.asp?zipcode=balloch) looks a little wet on saturday morning but sunday looks fine.
need to be there for 10 so will probably leave around 7.00/7.30 think we'll try the helensburgh route.
Saturday Eyemouth, Sunday Loch Fyne.
