Isn't it up from Conger Alley? I seem to remember diving there years ago looking for it. Only found a knackered old boat.
Does anybody know where the torpedo is in loch long?

I've seen the one just south of the caves, about 150m if I remember corectly and it was in 12m. Although I did hear a rumour that some divers from Clydebank had raised it.
The one I found down from the caves was in 20 metres with old rope around it's tail. there are a few on the other side of the loch as well. I know for sure that one is still there and very shallow. PS they break mantlepieces.
So you go past the deep caves bit, and then come up to around 20m, where you would normally start to headback towards the entry point at a shallower depth ... but instead keep going south?? are there any features to look out for?

Gord, I have not looked for that particular torpedo for some years, I remember it was south of the caves, 'suppose I would have to visit again then work from memory. It may well have been salvaged by now.
cheers Bill. I'm due a visit to the caves soon. I'll keep my eyes (and ears!) open.
