View Full Version : Jellies in the Forth
Anyone been in the Forth this week. Went for a walk down the causeway at Crammond yesterday evening. The seaward side was loaded with jellies blown in, probably about 2 or 3 every metre.
not the east coast, but they are starting to show on the west coast in numbers.
i got a nice wee sting on the face at the weekend from a lions maine.
burger king vineger sachets come in handy for some things.
yep,the forth was heaving with jellies on saturday (mostly lion's mane) bad enough holding a midwater stop whilst sending up dsmb without having to dodge jellies
I hate jellyfish!

Thank you very much!
Seriously though, the japanese do eat them, although probably not Lions-mane ones.
Dont think it will catch on here except on the West Coast where they will be deep-fried
