When i logged in today it said 55 new posts so i clicked on the new posts tab and it had 5 where have the other 50 gone????

Is there anyway you can see all new posts since last visit? Also when I click on the home button it takes me there and says eg: 1 new post but it isnt a new post. sometimes i get a message saying no new posts do you want to see all new posts in last 24 hours, when i click on that there are new unread posts?

helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

You can have multiple new posts under one thread i.e. within the 5 threads there are 55 new posts

The drink thread seems to have a Red Bull mixer...

I've noticed the new posts bit under the User CP on the home pages may have a bit of a time delay in updating but never anything too serious. Usualy refreshing the page does it for me (easily pleased)

5 threads but within those 5 there were not that many new posts. I clicked on the conger alley link and there were threads from today that did not show up on the new posts bit.

is there no way you can just click a button to see all posts from the previous 24 hours or since last login?

Tried that you need to specify usernames or key words, cant just put in show posts from for example: "yesterday"

hmmm

I just tested the "new posts" thing and it seemed to work ok for me ...

Next time you've been away and come back, do "new posts" immediately and see if it works or not.

Unfortunately there is no mechanism I am aware of in vbulletin to list new posts between certain dates, although i can see how this would be useful.

The thing i tend to do is to use the portal/front page's "Recent Threads" module when I am dipping in and out of the forum. Invariably it is suffient to cover all the new threads and posts I need to catch up on.

Sorry I can't be more specifically helpful.

Sorry I thought there would have been an option to do a wildcard search, but just tried it and it doesnt, heyho. I have not found any issues with the "Find new posts" link though, hopefully it was just a glitch for you.
