A wee while back I ran a post on SD for a trip to HMS Campania. It is now organised and I know some of the people on the list post here too. Can you come back to me to confirm if you still want to go. I don't think it'll be a problem either way, just want to confirm numbers ASAP.

dive bunker can take 12 on their boat chris/peter.
we did it in 3 waves of 4 divers & it seemed to work well.
No problems Stewart.
We now have some definate spaces, if anyone wants added, either reply here or in the link in SD or PM.

CheersWhen we dived with DB a few weeks ago, the RHIB returned to the slip between dives to allow tank swapping.

I must be sad too, because I also enjoy dives in those conditions! Although it's better if I'm with a familiar buddy. :rolleyes:
I'd be keen to dive the Campania & Saucy again some time. Probably in a year or two. Definitely worth a repeat visit but not quite so soon.
Next time, I want to do them on a Wednesday as that's when the viz is best according to Mark! :eek:

The email I got from Dive Bunker said the wreck was only 5 minutes out on the RIB. I'll only be using a single cylinder, but will have 2 with me and will just swap them between dives. Dive Bunker do gas fills and I would think will simply fill them up between dives if required.
Hurry and put in your order. spaces coming available fast - not sure my selling technique is working!
Unfortunately Tichydiver can't make it. However dive bunker we happy with these numbers. Sure I can't persuede any more of you to come as I want to confirm to dive bunker before I go on hols in July, so they can sell any left over spaces.

Remember as was said a couple of days ago - West is Best - nah!
There where a couple from my club interested. But it was sort of decided that we might arrange our own trip (I'm still going on the CA one either way). I'll check and get back to you.
Grant has confirmed as a no. Still doesn't have enough kit or experience in ou lovely waters yet!

Is Blae rock tide dependant, i.e. you get ripped off of it into the blue?
yes it is,there can be down currents too if not dived on slack :eek:
The first time i dived it we missed it :o,had a 30M 35 min drift dive with not much to see.
Mark mentioned the Saucy to me, but said we could confirm nearer the time. I have a call into him just now, waiting fo a call back.

Hi Guys - everything is set for tomorrow. Spoke to Mark at Dive Bunker and we will meet at 11, load the boat, kit up and do one dive first before the Campania around slack at high tide mid afternoon. The Campania needs to be dived at slack to get best viz, so that's his recommendation. I mentioned Blae Rock that many were asking for and he said that could easy be the first dive. He also had a few other ideas which we should have a wee listen to before finalising.
