Nice video Steve, great viz you had that day. What set-up do you use? I noted that the video is on before you hit the water, must be a fair bit of editting afterwards?

I have a Sony VX2100 with an Ikelite housing at a 100watt Pro lighting system. For editing I have Final Cut Studio Professional running on an iMac 20

Final Cut is the doggies danglers as far as editing software is concerned and it only runs on the iMac which is such a sexy looking computer and it's a joy to work with.

The software is a bit pricey but once you have got to grips with it you can do some really wonderful things.

I always have the video on when I hit the water. I like to add some of the bubbles in as part of the getting in bit. It gets the "Roll over backwards like James Bond" comments from the none divers. :D :D :D

Many thanks for the info, Steve, can't afford that software you use (I use Sony's own which ain't too bad so far), but it obviously works well. Nicely atmospheric, keep it up! (or is it down?)

I enjoyed that Steve, the visibility looked great and the shots of the divers conveyed the impression that they were really enjoying themselves.
Thanks,

Gerry

Problaby a daft question, but did the soundtrack have some relevance to the video?

Not really. It's a celtic folk song about the sea by Clannad. It's really quite lovely. It's the first tune I learned to play on my mandolin.
