View Full Version : Front zipping dry suit
Im after a front opening membrane drysuit. Who sells then up here as i dont really have time or money to head south and get a MTM suit. I know Glasgows finest havent got any (unless your a skinny wee lassie) and Edinburgh dive centre do not stock any either. where else is there that may stock them.
Thanks
i think your best bet is over the internet, although you wont be able to try them on.
my dive buddy chris has an otter britanic telescopic, prettys sure he got his from divers warehouse...

Seaskin also do front loaders mtm, again you can order over the web

Very good price and from what I've heard great suits. If you go for MTM then I'd advise a trip to the manufacturer to get measured properly. I have a MTM Otter Brittanic, I supplied the sizes via the web and I'm not all that happy with the fit, wish I had taken the time to head down and get it done to my exact specs. If you do order on-line give them a call and discuss your exact requirements.

I have a DUI which I really like.

Cheers Guys,
DUI too expensive for me. Possibly will take a trip down to Bradford tuesday to try Otter suits for size £700 + is too much to risk ordering over the phone / internet.
God knows why no shop up here does them.
I am pretty sure if you go to one of the Dive shops, I.E EDC or even FYM they will order in for you, but going direct you should get the best discount me thinks

Give Otter a call, the may have a dealer. Aberdeen Watersports I'm pretty sure is one.
Dead right though, don't get measured by someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Otter are about 45min from where I work so I use them a lot, they are really helpful in the shop and they have a huuuuuuuuge stock of suits. Their stock size range is also quite wide so chances are you might get something to fit without going MTM. John and his son are brilliant, far better with customer service than Northern Diver.
If you are an instructor then they usually do a discount on suits.
Cheers,
Stuart
The only downside I found with a made to measure suit is that is was pointed out to me quite clearly that while I may wear 32" waist trouser I do not have a 32" waist :(
