Having just purchased a new underwater illuminating device, which should be here Wednesday Im looking to dive Wednesday evening, I dont mind where or what time so long as its getting darkish

I twwinned up 2 independant 12's but found them a bit top heavy (Fabers) any tips. Used them with my tekwing and steel back plate. Any tips?
sounds very tempting.

Are they top heavy or are you flatter in the water? Ie better trimmed out as I feel slighty head down but am flatter if you see what i mean. Where are your bands the top one should I believe be just at the cylinder break where it goes form curved to flat. Im sure a more experianced twin set diver will be able to help better ie Stew

had them set with the bands around 3" down from the bell, so i'll drop them down to the seam and try again.

on my twin 10's i have the bands at the same cylinder break which is pretty much right for most folk.
on my twin 12's i have the top band around 1 inch down.
more to do with your physical height than any hard & fast rule, but as a guide, within 2 inches would be standard.
agir brok twinning bands :eek: you have too much cash (or did have) :D

Well, I was thinking of coming along for my last hurrah before getting my eyes zapped and being dry for a month - but now my bottom lip has gone all petted and I'm sniffing.
Maybe I could go and we could have a bigger than normal buddy separation - about a quarter of a mile should do.
